- Bobby “retired from the Houston Police Department as a Master Police Officer after 38 1/2 yrs of service of which 31 1/2 years had been a "Solo Motorcycle" officer. He became a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in 1970 and served on the Parade & VIP Transportation Committees earning him the achievement of Lifetime Committeeman. One of his favorite past-times was to go to Colorado and ride the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. He was an avid hunter & fisherman who enjoyed fishing in Galveston Bay and hunting in the Hill Country of West Texas. Most of all he liked spending time with his family.” [2]
