- “Erma began work at 14 years old at Argenta Drug Store. She also worked at Williamson Drug, Sterling Store in North Little Rock, and Woolworths in Little Rock. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1953, and Draughn's Business School in 1954. She later worked for the Agricultural Extension Office and Electrolux Corporation.
“She was retired from Pulaski County Special School District after 25 years. She served at Oak Grove Elementary, Oak Grove High School, Pine Forest Elementary, the district administrative office, and she was also a member of local, state and national Association of Office Personnel.
“Erma was a long time member of Levy Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school classes and participated in the "Knit Together With Love" group, knitting garments for charity.
“Hobbies included: knitting, painting, ceramics, jewelry making and watercolor.” [1]
