  • Notes
    • “Sigmund was born in Madison Wisconsin, and drafted to the Navy, in World War II. He was assigned to the underwater demolition team, which today is now the Navy Seals. He was part of the Navy Pharmaceutical team for two years and was honorably discharged in 1944.

“He then moved to Texas and became a Marketing Salesman, where he met his surviving wife, Esmeralda Henry and spent some of his years living in Corpus Christi, ending up living most of his life in Austin, Texas.

“Sigmund loved his family dearly. He always made sure that holidays were extra special for his family. Dressing up like Santa Clause, opening the window and putting fake snow in the window sill to look like Santa had come in the window. He loved Science fiction movies, outer space movies, and Star Trek. He helped his daughter with all her science projects even making a whole space city to give her an ‘A’ in class. Anything to keep his imagination flowing.

“Sigmund was always active during his life. He was always hiking, walking, spending time with his best friend George Felan and their family. They would go creeking all around Texas, grilling in the wilderness and camping throughout the weekends. He could even do a front flip. He was always making people laugh and always had a smile on his face.

“He also made sure that his daughters were always told to make sure they dated boys ‘that had Jesus in their heart.’ He wanted them to have God in their lives always.” [1]
