    • The 65 year-old bachelor rancher was convicted in the 1965 murder of Lucia Cabrerra Davila Etter, age 38, and her husband Fritz Etter, 70, (due to jealousy). From his conviction in 1966 to the end of his life he was an inmate in the State Penitentiary in Dallas, Texas. He lost all of his appeals.
