  Kelsi was a junior at Cooper High School in Woodrow, Texas, at the time of her death. She was a lifelong resident of Lubbock County. She was involved in Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, basketball, National Junior Honor Society and the junior high student council.
