    • Fred and his family moved to Dallas when he was young. He was raised in Lake Highlands, along with his three brothers and his sister. He graduated from Rice University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. An electrical engineer, he began a 28-year career with Texas Instruments in Dallas after he and his new bride moved there after their wedding in 1974. His favorite pasttime was golf, but he also enjoyed landscaping and other creative endeavors. [1]
