    • James had a long career in Project Management with Brown & Root and Fluor. Stellar projects included the Manned Spacecraft Center at Clear Lake, TX, the Mohole Project (a scientific endeavor to drill a hole through the crust of the earth), and the Saudi Arabia Gas Program. He was a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, the Houston Engineers Club, a founding member of Project Management Institute in Houston, and a member of the Texas A&M Century Club.

      James graduated from Reagan High School in Houston and attended Heights Christian Church. He was a Master Mason and member of Cade-Rothwell Masonic Lodge in Houston for more than 60 years. He was an avid deer hunter who loved to hunt the Texas Hill Country whitetails with his family and friends. [3]
