- Maston Henry Clay worked at mortuaries in Pampa, Wheeler, and Shamrock. He owned and operated the Clay Funeral Home since 1935. He retired in 1961, but worked part time with his son, M. H. Clay, Jr. of Shamrock. He was an active civic worker. He was a member of the booster club, Rotary Club, and Masonic Lodge in Shamrock. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shamrock [2]
