    • “Gladys was born in Nelsonville, Texas on June 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Frank and Albina (Sisa) Macat. She grew up in Bleiblerville where she attended the Santa Anna School. She married Frank Joe Broz. September 26, 1946 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Bellville, TX. They lived in the same farmhouse that her husband had been born in. She worked beside her husband on the farm. In later years she worked at Lindemann's Store in Industry. Gladys was a great cook and baker, her kolaches were the best.
