  • Notes
    • In 1915 Henry co-founded with fellow clergyman Edward F. Sanderson the New York Goodwill in Brooklyn. Although Goodwill Industries was founded as an organization to help the unemployed, homeless, and disabled thirteen years earlier in Boston, Henry and Sanderson were the first to coin the name Goodwill.

Henry was admitted to the First Church of Hartford, Connecticut, on April 5, 1896, from the Second Congregational Church of Oberlin, Ohio. [12, 13]
