Notes - Emma emigrated to the United States with her parents. They entered at the Port of Baltimore, Maryland, soon settling in La Grange. A few years later the family moved to near Sharp in Milam County, which is where Emma attended school. Her main hobby was flower gardening. She and her husband, Walter, lived at Leechville for the first few years of the marriage. They then moved to Sharp, where Emma lived until 1940 at which time she moved to Rockdale. [9]
