    • Fred was “raised in Anadarko. After several occupations, he moved to California to work in the shipyards before World War II … After the war he worked in the oil industry. He and his family moved to Bogota, Colombia, where he worked for Anson Drilling Company. They later returned to Edmond. He worked in real estate before retiring. He served as commander of both the Edmond American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts and held various other offices in both organizations. He had also been a docent of the Edmond Historical Society and a volunteer for Hope Center. He was a long-time member of Edmond First United Methodist Church, where he served on the board of trustees and belonged to the Methodist Men.” [1]
